Cia Siab, Inc. is an organization providing hope and empowerment for the Hmoob community in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. Established in 2016, this 501(c)3 non-profit organization is dedicated to building a culturally vibrant Hmoob community through a range of services and programs that celebrate and preserve Hmoob language, culture, and heritage.

At the core of Cia Siab, Inc.'s mission is the provision of bilingual and bicultural services to assist Hmoob community members who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in La Crosse County. They offer comprehensive individual advocacy services and group programming for youth, adults, and elders. They also provide free and confidential housing support. By addressing the unique needs of Hmoob survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, Cia Siab, Inc. is a lifeline for those in need of support and healing.

They collaborate with schools, host the Indigenous Educators Conference, and provide speakers on Hmoob culture and history. Their youth programs, including the Hmoob Culture and Language Camp, empower young people to connect with their heritage and foster a sense of identity and belonging.

One of the hallmark initiatives of Cia Siab, Inc. is the Paj Ntaub Circle, a safe space and support network for Hmoob women in the La Crosse area. This program not only connects women socially, emotionally, and politically but also preserves the traditional needlework of the Hmoob Paj Ntaub, allowing women to reclaim and rebuild their identity through artistic expression.

Furthermore, Cia Siab, Inc.'s commitment to inclusivity is evident in their Queer Program, which provides a supportive space for Queer Hmong individuals to address the intersections of patriarchy, gender equity, and identity within the Hmoob community. By creating spaces for healing and dialogue, Cia Siab, Inc. is breaking the cycle of violence and empowering all members of the community to live authentically and with pride.
